Sustainability is a hot topic right now. Hardly a conversation goes by without someone mentioning the word ‘sustainability’.
Of course, there are different kinds of sustainability and in the context of ‘abundance and wealth growth’, we mean: How do you ensure your ‘business’ or ‘income model’ grows and then remains sustainable?
How are you going to make sure you have enough money in the bank at the end of each month?
The more traditional business models employ salespeople or sales techniques to drum up business every month. But what if you are a ‘digital nomad’ and don’t have access to traditional networking groups or if you are a ‘one-man-band’ and you don’t have the resources to employ a salesperson or the time and energy needed to exercise traditional sales tasks on a daily basis?
When I first started my branding business I wasn’t sure how to get new clients. I am not an extravert ‘sales’ type. I’m an introvert, sensitive person who can’t stand pushy salespeople. I did try networking and even started my own networking group. One of the problems I faced when hosting a networking event, was that I was so softly spoken I had to ask one of the men at the event to act as master of ceremonies. Networking can still be effective if you join the right groups. It did feel very time consuming and it did feel very very very early in the morning.
By and large, I was convinced that there must be another way.
Possible physical solutions that I have discovered along the way:
If you are a sensitive soul and prefer carrying out tasks that are more internally focused, marketing can be a great tool to employ in your favour. There is a ‘practice’ called ‘pull marketing‘ which is a way of ‘pulling’ business toward you. It is a much more subtle but still very effective way of reaching the correct audience. Instead of the more ‘pushy’ sales strategies, pull marketing is a highly ‘designed’ and well thought-through strategy. It involves identifying your target market and setting up. Pull marketing is an approach designed to draw customers to a brand through search engine optimization (SEO) and other non-intrusive methods. The ultimate goal is to strengthen consumer awareness of a brand and products and foster demand.
With social media on the rise and the ability to sort out one’s own SEO, for example, you could attend a ‘google garage‘ workshop
It is becoming easier and easier to get your tailored messages out to a very targeted audience and therefore create a sustainable income stream.
Possible metaphysical solutions:
I have spent many years perfecting the art of working with and manipulating energy. There are many chapters in the book ‘abundance magic‘ that deal with manifesting money into your bank account. We have guided meditations that can help you practice manifestation of money. One of my favourites is only 7 minutes long and is one of the most powerful meditations I’ve ever experienced: Sustainable Abundance meditation
